Kaitlyn Whitefoot-Keliin, PhD


Kaitlyn earned a BA in Biology from Albion College and a PhD in Biochemistry, Cell, and Molecular Biology from Central Michigan University. Her research interests include innate immunity, inflammation, and host-pathogen interactions. In the Lawrenz lab, Kaitlyn focuses on how Yersinia pestis modulates inflammatory lipids in leukocytes. Outside of the lab, she enjoys gardening, gaming, and mosaic art.
